Todd Gardner
producer,deejay, musician

Todd G started DJing professionally years before he was able to legally attend the New Jersey, NYC night clubs his classmates dreamed about. A born entertainer, proficient trumpet player, professional bmx racer and DJ, all these titles were granted as a high school student, showing his incredible work ethic. In 1986 he began spinning weekly with some of the top DJ’s. From Humphries to Morales, in some of the most historical clubs in dance music. Zanzibar, The Roxy, Mars and Club88 gave him the training to rock any club. Now playing weekly along side the likes of Morrilo, Van Helden, Steve Angello, Harry Romero, DJ Ralf and others. Gardner has left his mark on some of the most famous venues world wide. Ministry of Sound, The End, and a miraculous night at Italy’s CocoRico has made Todd an Italian top requested American DJ.

Unlike many producers turned DJ, Todd is a DJ turned producer. He’s quick to inform “I will always be a DJ 1st.” With a discography of over 40 productions/remixes there is no wonder why he’s been a choice re-mixer for current and past labels such as Subliminal, Sondos, King St. Yellorange, BMG and others. Productions/remixes for Jill Scott, Chloe D’Lux, Musique, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero and Macy Gray… have all impressively increased record sales and are guaranteed floor fillers. His early beginnings on Mission Records displayed quality tunes but it was the question he asked the world “Do You Know House?”, now a must have classic, that sealed his place in the hearts of soulful garage lovers.

Fast forwarding to the present day, Todd has been working towards DJ world domination and no longer is holding back his tougher side. His new ventures Certified Recordings & Certified Organik records have taken off like a rocket. Certified, being more in tuned to his electro, big room DJ style and Certified Organik ranging from spoken word to deep soulful house have been charted, reviewed, licensed and in rotation of virtually every DJ, radio program director in the industry.

He has made a promise to push the creative envelope in fusing different styles of dance music in search of a new sound of his own amd he has thus far been doing just that. He explains: “I’m going to do what I do, regardless. That’s the way I’ve always been – always been a little bit against the grain.”
